Traditional dock applications require bi-annual to annual maintenance. Snap Decking is a glass filled polypropylene decking product that requires little to no maintenance. Also, with our plastic decking there is a guarantee that it will not crack, split, peel, blister, cup, rot, or be impacted by termites or mold, unlike traditional dock backed by our 12 year limited warranty.
The best way to clean Snap Decking products is to use lukewarm water and biodegradable soap and a soft bristle brush. An alternative to cleaning solution would be to use a pressure washer that is 1500 psi or less to avoid discoloration or damage to the deck’s surface (It is recommended to use a 40-degree fan tip “white head” on the pressure washer) as the final rinse.
